Clomid is a drug that stimulates the ovaries in women and causes them to ovulate more. It is used especially in the treatment of infertility in women.

Package:
10 and 30 tablets of 50 mg each.
Indications:
Used in cases of ovulation failure in women who are infertile and potent and want to get pregnant. Also used in polycystic ovary syndrome and in some cases as an addition to gonadotropins and in in vitro fertilization programs.
Contraindications:
Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy Uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction Pituitary disorder or past liver dysfunction Abnormal uterine bleeding of unknown cause Ovarian cysts or growth of cysts (except polycystic ovary syndrome) Endometrial carcinoma
Warnings:
Can be applied to patients with normal liver function and endogenous estrogen physiological activity (to be determined by vaginal smear, endometrial biopsy, serum or urinary estrogen assay, or bleeding in response to progesterone). Patients should be warned about the possibility of multiple pregnancies, especially when used in high doses.
Side Effects:
Vasomotor hot flashes, abdominal discomfort, abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian enlargement, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, headache, etc. various symptoms and visual disturbances may be observed.
Drug Interactions: No reported interactions.
Dosage Recommendations:
Start with 1 tablet per day and continue for 5 days. If ovulation does not occur, 30 days after the first cycle, the daily dose is increased to 2 tablets and continued for 5 days. In this way, the daily dose can be increased up to 250 mg. The daily dose for men is 1 tablet and should be continued for at least 6 months.
